Blog Backlinks

Blog Commenting

This is by far one of the best ways to gain higher page rank backlinks to your site.  This method assists you in gaining only relevant backlinks for your niche.

You will need the free SEOquake for the Firefox browser.

You will be using Google search to find your blogs.  With the SEOquake add on running, you will see important data for each site in the search listings.  It will look like this:

All you do is enter the following content (with quotes) in the search window.  Replace ‘keyword’ with your word or phrase.

keyword “powered by wordpress”

keyword “leave a reply”

keyword “leave a comment”

keyword “enable commentluv”

keyword “This site uses KeywordLuv”

keyword “powered by blogengine.net”

keyword “mail (will not be published)”

keyword “notify me of follow up comments”

site:.com inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “Keyword

site:.org inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “Keyword

site:.net inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “Keyword

Once you do a search, look for sites with a page rank of 3 or more.  Visit the sites and leave a good comment relevant to the post.

Do a quick scan of the site.  Make sure comments are posted on that page.  Some times there will just be a comments link to another page.  That page may not have the same rank.  If you can read comments on the page then it’s ok to post one.

Important tip:  With most blog comments, your name will be the anchor text in the backlink to your site.  Because anchor text is so important, I suggest using your keyword or phase along with your name.  Something like ‘Wallpaper Bill” or ‘Backlinks Bob’. Be creative, you want to make sure your comment gets approved.
